JOB VACANCY FOR DEPUTY - PRODUCTION MANAGER

POSITION DESCRIPTION

 Position Title:  Deputy Production Manager

 Report to:       Production Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Pharmacist with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
2. Must be registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya.
3. At least three years’ experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Computer literate.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Production planning and scheduling to ensure timely availability of products.
2. Implementation of production plans to ensure that production targets are achieved.
3. Assuring Quality in all manufacturing activities in production
4. Ensuring adherence to set quality, cGMP and manufacturing procedures in Production.
5. Participating in the writing/review of Standard Operating Procedures and any other documentation that may be necessary for quality assurance in Production.
6. Participating in cGMP committee meetings, self-inspections and external audits.
7. Advise and participate in any quality system reviews that may be necessary.
8. Rationalize production costs by ensuring optimum utilization of available resources
9. Training and development of factory personnel.
